Dr. Valaida Wise is a faculty member in the Graduate School of Education at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD where she teaches diversity, equity, inclusion and issues of social justice as well as research and assessment. Dr. Wise is a sought-after public speaker and has lectured nationally and internationally, most recently on the topics of governance, leadership, diversity, equity and inclusion. A qualitative researcher, Dr. Wise has written articles on DEI in leadership, early childhood education and equity in education.

Rich Schaeff has been working in the field of Organizational Change for more than 30 years, more specifically in the realm of DEI since 2017. Bringing his background in experiential learning to bear while exploring leadership and organizational effectiveness has proven effective in the manufacturing, healthcare and conservation fields. The humility he has discovered on his DEI journey as a white man in the US allows him to connect personally with leaders of all kinds. Rich’s combination of sincerity, humor and directness resonates with C-suite leaders to floor operators alike.

Over the last decade, Soyini has demonstrated a track record of success as an advisor to business leaders, entrepreneurs, and business strategists; she is a highly regarded trainer, workshop facilitator, and speaker. Becca manages day-to-day content on LinkedIn and beyond for Jim Morris Consulting. She’s passionate about sustainability and social justice and works with mission-driven businesses to elevate their social media presence with organic content marketing. She has a BA in Environmental Studies and loves to get outside in her free time. Fun fact: she hiked from San Diego to Bend on the Pacific Crest Trail in 2019.

Amalia Alarcon Morris, she/her, is a Latina DEI practitioner living in the Republic of Panama. She started her career in social justice and health equity and moved into racial equity in US local governments. Over the last 15 years she has focused on the corporate sector and has worked with teams in the US, Latin America, Europe and Asia. She is a fully fluent Spanish speaker.
